Corporate worship is designed to open our eyes to the beauties of Christ and the gospel. When we sing, we are engaging in the very thing we were built for--that is--to glorify God by enjoying Him!

At Calvary Baptist Church, our goal is to sing songs that offer a wide range of emotional expression; stretch our appreciation and understanding of the gospel; and engage our mind, intellect, and will together. We believe that the songs we sing are formative, and that we should sing songs that touch on every aspect of our lives.

At Calvary Baptist Church, you will find a "blended" style of music. We have a deep appreciation for hymns, as they connect us with the saints who have gone before us and, often times, faced the same struggles we still have today. We also have a great gratitude for the Christian songwriters of our day.
